Glutino ™ Corn Bread

The packaging looks so inviting. Happy yellow plastic enveloping a golden loaf of what feels like moist delicious gluten free bread.
However, what you get is a loaf dry gritty slices that looks like bread. The only thing this ‘bread’ is good for is to make croutons or bread crumbs for chicken coating. (See the entry Hot off the Plate!)
My rating: 1/10 (it had nice packaging)
I find this bread good if toasted. Come to think of it, I have never had a "good"tasting gluten free bread without it being toasted…
We have been spoiled. Out in Calgary we had the GF Patisserrie where fresh baked gluten free good were TO DIE FOR! ( not just to tolerate) That has become our level of gauging. We haven’t found a mass produced store bread YET that comes close, but we will keep looking and Toasting ones that are ‘so so’. Ener G is, so far, my bread of choice for breakfast and other purposes.
